Who we are

Off-Ice HQ (“we,” “our”) operates the Off-Ice HQ platform at hockeyapp.paulducey.com. We build tools for youth hockey players, coaches, and families. Questions: pjducey@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account info — your name and email address, provided when you sign in with Google.
• Player data — player name, birth year, age tier, position, and activity (circuits completed, points earned, clips uploaded). Player accounts are owned by a parent or guardian; minors never sign in directly (COPPA model).
• Team and game data — schedule events, game scores, shot locations, and practice notes logged by coaches or guardians.
• Media — skill-clip videos you upload to the Film Room, stored in Cloudflare R2 and private by default.
• Usage data — standard server logs (IP, browser, timestamps) to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

• To provide the Off-Ice HQ features described on this site.
• To calculate points, streaks, and progress for each player.
• To display schedule, game, and team data to authorized coaches and guardians.
• We do not sell, share, or monetize your data with third parties.
• We do not serve ads.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

We do not allow children under 13 to create accounts. All player accounts are owned and controlled by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child's data has been collected without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Data storage

Data is stored in Neon Postgres (US East region) and Cloudflare R2. We use industry-standard security practices: TLS in transit, encrypted at rest.

Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated player data at any time by emailing pjducey@gmail.com. We will process deletion within 30 days.

Changes

We'll update this page when our practices change and note the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
